    The Supply Chain team is looking for motivated professionals to facilitate the distribution of our great products to customers and consumers. These personnel can analyze production metrics against market needs in Supply & Demand Planning, focus on product transportation through Logistics, or ensure the shelves of your local grocery store are stocked by Direct Store Delivery.

    The Fleet Dispatcher is responsible for the effective management and coordination of a fleet of drivers and vehicles. This position is responsible for the routing and preparation of schedules, as well as dispatching of activities for trucks and drivers.  

    This position will report Sunday through Thursday from 8PM -5AM.

    Responsibilities

    • Responsible for the full dispatching and changes of trucks, which includes planning & dispatching drivers for weekly deliveries
    • Identify and evaluate deliveries by requirements, quantities, cost, etc. and arrange for carrier delivery as appropriate
    • Work with internal and external customers on scheduling appointments for weekly pickup and delivery availability
    • Securing freight for drivers & problem solving through various transportation events
    • Responsible for supervising the company owned fleet program drivers
    • Other duties as assigned to support the transportation department

    Qualifications

    • Associate’s Degree from a regionally accredited college or university and 2+ years’ relevant experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience, required.
    • Associate’s Degree, preferred.
    • SAP and TMS experience are a plus.
    • Knowledge of the transportation industry, transportation rate structures and current trends.
    • Ability to work independently and navigate a complex organization.
    • Strong planning, organization, and execution skills.
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
    • Ability to be respectful, approachable and team oriented while building strong working relationships and a positive work environment.
    • Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment.
    • This position will report Sunday through Thursday from 8PM -5AM.
