The primary focus of the Talent Acquisition Specialist – Operations (TAS) is to attract and hire a qualified pool of talent for hourly operations and maintenance positions within our manufacturing plants. On some occasions, the TAS will also recruit for front line supervisory positions, manufacturing and distribution facility management positions and corporate positions. The incumbent will use innovative approaches to market, recruit and hire talent for multiple plants within a predetermined geographic area. This position works closely with local plant HR Managers to understand workforce needs and to develop an approach to filling the pipeline with qualified individuals from diverse candidate pools.
No direct Supervisory Responsibilities.
Office and facility environment to include lifting, stretching, bending, reaching, walking, climbing, travel by car and aircraft.
The majority of the time is spent in an office setting outside of the production plant. The plant environment will include wet or humid conditions (non-weather related), extreme cold and heat (non-weather related), working near moving mechanical parts, exposure to fumes or airborne particles, and chemicals.
